Job Description:

Design Irrigation Systems using Excel and AutoCAD
Supervise Engineering Team across multiple locations hire and mentor drafters and engineers
Construction management of detail oriented special projects
Estimating public works projects
Oversee quality control of all engineering designs and parts lists
Set enforce design standards to ensure continuity throughout company designs
Assist sales team with technical support and customer issues
Assist with commissioning large projects
Automation system design, install, and troubleshooting
Design and size pumps, sump structures, and reservoirs
Use AutoCAD to create valve details, parts, and filter stations
Research vendor product lists, specifications, and technical documents
Interact with salespeople to ensure correct information is gathered for accurate designs
Organize Central Irrigation part library within AutoCAD
Create parts lists based on designs
Other duties as assigned by CEO and COO

Requirements:

Complete understanding of irrigation design related equations and procures
Hands on troubleshooting mindset
In-depth knowledge and operation of Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
Surveying thorough understanding and experience
Farming experience or background preferred
College level coursework in fluid dynamics and basic soil water plant relationships
Associate's degree with 2 years relevant engineering or agriculture experience or Bachelor's degree in engineering or agriculture.
